Charlotte Crosby breaks down over Gaz Beadle as she details ectopic pregnancy

Charlotte Crosby revealed she hasn’t forgiven ex-boyfriend Gaz Beadle after she suffered devastating ectopic pregnancy alone.

The Geordie Shore star, 30, underwent emergency surgery to remove her Fallopian tube five years ago, when she unknowingly became pregnant with her co-star’s child.

An ectopic pregnancy is fairly common but can be life-threatening, and occurs when a fertilised egg implants outside the womb, most often in the Fallopian tube.

It is not possible to move an ectopic pregnancy into the womb to develop normally and, as the pregnancy grows, it can damage the Fallopian tube or cause it to burst.

Speaking in the latest instalment of her Values and Vibrators podcast, the star detailed her painful cramps, which she initially confused for intense period pains – but was later taken to hospital where she was told of the condition.

However, Gaz wasn’t by her side throughout the ordeal, and was filming abroad for a series of MTV’s Ex On The Beach.

Charlotte became tearful as she said: ‘In the back of my mind, I think every girl will know this, you don’t want to tell them to come home, but you want them to be there. But you want them to do that off their own back.

‘You want them to be like, “I need to leave this show now I want to get on the first flight home and be by the side of the girl that I apparently care so much about”.

‘But that just never happened, and he carried on filming.’

Charlotte turned to a psychologist provided by MTV, who helped her to come to terms with what had happened, and how she could communicate with Gaz about her feelings.

However, she was left devastated once more when Ex On The Beach aired, and she realised that her then-beau had been with other women behind her back.

‘I suffered a lot. I lost my organs, I was in hospital,’ she said. ‘I nearly died and just as I kind of… not that you get over it, but just as you start to feel everything is feeling a bit better and it’s something that happened but you’re moving on, and then that TV show comes out.

‘When he was out there filming, we just stopped speaking. The phone calls stopped and that was it really.’

Discussing where their friendship is now, she confessed that they still haven’t spoken much since her ordeal, but she wants to take steps on rebuilding their bond.

‘Me and Gary never really spoke since,’ she continued. ‘But I will say now, it sounds so strange to even say this, because it’s like crazy even re-talking about everything that he did and how he handled the whole situation…

‘I don’t even know how I can even say this. I haven’t forgiven him, but it kind of is what it is and I don’t hold a grudge against him any more.

‘Obviously now, five years later, we have spoke a few times. As stupid as it sounds, it would be nice to be friends probably again.

‘I have actually healed from it now and I’ve got closure. And I’m so happy now. Looking back, as crazy as it might  sound, everything happened for the right reasons.

‘Because me and Gary weren’t meant to be together. As much as it looked like a fairytale on TV – it really wasn’t. Everything worked out the right way.’

Charlotte has since moved on, and is now dating Liam Beaumont, while Gaz has two children with partner Emma McVey.
