Good Morning Britain viewers have shared their amazement at how “fantastic” a 100-year-old World War Two veteran appeared.

The ITV breakfast show welcomed 100-year-old former RAF Pathfinder pilot Colin Bell on Wednesday for an interview with hosts Richard Bacon and Charlotte Hawkins.

Colin discussed how proud he was to fly the world’s fastest bomber made of wood, The Mosquito, as part of the fight against Nazi Germany.

“If you had to fly in a war you couldn’t have been in a better aircraft,” noted Colin.
