A week of fun Hallowe’en events is being lined up in Rutherglen and Cambuslang.
On Tuesday October 26 there will be a Hallowe’en musical bingo at the No 18 venue on Farmeloan Road, with the chance to take part in bingo while exercising, and a spooky twist for good measure. It starts at 12.30pm.
Friday October 29 will see a Hallowe’en History walk taking place at 10.30am, starting at No 18. If you’re keen to learn more about your local area, then come along to our Hallowe’en History Walk and experience the past with every gory footstep.

At the same time there will be a Baby Disco taking place from 11am to noon. It is suitable for little ones aged 6 weeks – 12 months and will provide some fang-tastic fun.
A very special interactive telling of Room on the Broom will also take place on October 29 at No 18, starting at 2pm. They will bring to life the story of our kind witch and all the animals asking for a ride on her broom.
The themed workshop will include arts and crafts, games and a story. It’ll be lots of fun for children and grown ups and is suitable for little ones aged 18 months and upwards.
There will be a kids Hallowe’en disco from 4pm onwards on the day too, offering a perfect chance for little trick or treaters to dress up and have some Hallowe’en fun.
On October 30 BikeTown at Thomson Court will be having a Hallowe’en party all day, with creepy goodies and frightening deals on offer.
On Hallowe’en itself Cuningar Loop will have a spooktacular scavenger hunt, with the chance to hear some terrifyingly terrific stories at the Big Chair and get your bike get checked by the Dr Bike Town team.
Every child will get a free goodie bag too.
Lastly, Camglen Radio will be playing some ghoulish tunes and creepy short stories on the day itself.
